Born in New York City, Ken's family spent summers at Cape Cod in Centerville on Craigville Beach. Forward-looking parents relocated the family to Sarasota in 1956 and became one of the first families to build and live in the treasured waterfront community of Coral Cove. It was a great place for a boy to grow up. If you are a long-term resident of Sarasota and the name sounds familiar to you, perhaps it is because Ken's father, Ken Torrington, also, had a career as the esteemed photographer for the Sarasota Herald Tribune. These were great genes to pass along to a child who would eventually find himself in the illustrious profession of Real Estate. Prior to his Real Estate career. Ken spent about 20 years in management with the FORTUNE 500 company that invented "customer service". This first career would prepare him well for the demands of the Real Estate profession. No one in the business does this better than Ken. He is devoted to the successful outcome of every transaction.
