The Gulf of Mexico, need we say more? Although we can’t take credit for its beautiful blue waters and world famous fishing, we are fortunate enough to take advantage of it every day. If you don’t have a boat, no problem, Sarasota offers many boat rental opportunities for that afternoon cruise. The boat ramps at the 10th Street facilities offer an abundance of parking as well as direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. You can also stay in the Inter-Coastal Waterway and cruise south for an afternoon in Venice, or take off north to the waters of Tampa Bay. The fishing on and offshore in Sarasota is almost never a disappointing experience.
